Paralegal

Staffing Now, a division of SNI Companies, has partnered with our client to hire a full-time Paralegal. The position is working with a growing boutique litigation and appellate law firm.

NOTE: CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED IN COLORADO

A summary of the responsibilities include:

Principle Duties:

• Evaluate and screen calls from prospective clients to assess whether their legal matters align with our areas of expertise.
• Respond to clients and opposing counsel/staff promptly and professionally through phone and email communication
• Schedule attorney meetings with opposing counsel or clients in a timely manner
• Prepare expense reports, handling basic accounting tasks, develop policies and procedures to accommodate anticipate growth

Requirements:

• Minimum four (4) years of complex civil litigation experience
• Extensive experience with trial preparation as well as comprehensive knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure
• Ability to manage a high-volume and high-conflict litigation caseload and help move cases forward
• Extensive experience with trial preparation as well as comprehensive knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and legal case management software

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this position starts at $65,000 a year. Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience.
