The Operations and Services Specialist at Everest Fuel is responsible for providing quotes, receiving orders, and arranging fuel uplift authorizations for customers worldwide. Responsibilities

  • Delivers consistent, superior service to all customers (both external and internal)
  • Monitors flight schedules and assists in determining fuel stops without compromising service or safety
  • Provides quotes to customers and arranges releases as directed
  • Prepares and distributes fuel instructions to customers’ dispatch and flight crews
  • Informs FBOs of arrivals and fuel instructions
  • Orders fuel releases from fuel vendors
  • Reviews the flight calendar on an ongoing basis to ensure all trips are properly addressed
  • Promptly responds to incoming phone calls and/or emails from dispatch, flight crews and FBOs
  • Prioritizes and resolves time sensitive situations keeping safety and the customer’s best interest in mind
  • Coordinates communications between customers, FBOs, fuel vendors, handlers and other third parties
  • Supports subsidiary companies acting as their primary fuel department
  • Daytime/evening/weekend/holiday on-call duties will be required

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate’s degree preferred or a minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation
  • Experience in the fuel and/or aviation industry a plus
  • Self-motivation
  • Flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities, tasks, work schedule and team dynamics
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Fanatical attention to detail, a sense of urgency and the ability to meet critical timelines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High energy and thrive in multi-tasking and evolving environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to de-escalate customer issues and concerns and uses creativity to find solutions
  • The ability to work in a team environment that promotes both the customer’s needs while maintaining best practices for the long-term goals of the company

Full Job Description

The Fuel Specialist provides quotes, receives orders, and arranges fuel uplift authorizations for customers around the world via an extensive network of fuel suppliers and FBOs.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers consistent, superior service to all customers (both external and internal)
  • Monitors flight schedules and assists in determining fuel stops without compromising service or safety
  • Provides quotes to customers and arranges releases as directed
  • Prepares and distributes fuel instructions to customers’ dispatch and flight crews
