  • Resolve discrepancies/disputes regarding pricing, quality, and other vendor issues as they arise, and communicate issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Enter price adjustments in the ERP system
  • Develop and maintain tools such as specifications, evaluation grids, market analysis reports, etc.
  • Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing or a related field, ideally in the beauty industry
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Proven capability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent planning and organizational skill

Full Job Description

Our client, a prestige beauty company, is looking to hire a temporary Purchasing Coordinator to join their team in a hybrid capacity (3 days in office) in Jersey City. This is a temporary position that will begin immediately and continue for 3 months. The ideal candidate should possess a strong mindset and be proficient in the tools and processes related to purchasing.


Job Duties Include:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of sourcing strategy for indirect purchasing
  • Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, etc.
  • Conduct vendor interviews to gather information on products, services, and pricing
  • Create and process purchase orders ensuring documentation accurate

Pay: $25.31/hour
