Operations Manager

We seek a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to join a leading moving company based in Austin, TX. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery to their clients.

As the Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in coordinating the logistical aspects of residential and commercial moves across Austin and the surrounding areas. You will streamline processes, implement best practices, and uphold their commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the moving company, including scheduling, dispatching, and resource allocation.
• Oversee a team of movers, drivers, and support staff, providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all aspects of operations.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of moving supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the moving or logistics industry.
