Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in the dairy or agriculture industries is a plus.
  • Experience with maintenance or machinery.
  • Experience working with automated machinery or equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude.
  • Industrial-level electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance skills are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for 5 years.

Preferred

  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Experience with PLC or HMI programming.
  • Mechanically inclined with a passion for the agricultural community.
  • Comfortable working in a dairy barn and handling dairy cows.
  • Courteous and friendly demeanor for interacting with customers and manufacturers.

We are looking for a Service Technician who wants to learn how to install and service automated equipment. Our Ideal Service Technician:

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in the dairy or agriculture industries is a plus. Experience with maintenance or machinery and additional experience working with automated machinery or equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Mechanically Inclined: Solid mechanical aptitude. Industrial-level electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance skills are strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude and learning capability.
  • Passionate: Must love the agricultural community and be excited to serve multi-generational farmers. Comfortable working in a dairy barn and handling dairy cows.
  • Great Communicator: You will be interacting with customers and manufacturers. Must be courteous and friendly.
  • Safety Conscious: Willing to follow written safety protocols and procedures.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office; experience with PLC or HMI programming is a plus.
  • Active: Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record for 5 years to use the company vehicle during work hours.
