  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive store environment for all customers
  • Stay informed about the latest footwear, apparel and accessory products
  • Troubleshoot typical injuries and medical problems
  • Operate the POS system, including processing exchanges, returns, special orders, and defective merchandise
  • Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining product displays
  • Support the Store Manager in recruiting, interviewing and developing team members
  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales goals
  • Provide guidance and motivation to team members, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment
  • Participate in and support store events, clinics, and running groups
  • Assist in scheduling team member shifts and managing payroll
  • Lead or delegate Daily Huddle with team regarding daily sales goals and projects
  • Initiate daily checklist priorities and needs
  • Attend all leadership meetings and all team meetings

Full Job Description

Position Description:

The Norman Assistant Floor Manager is responsible for driving and upholding overall customer experience and Red Coyote culture across all stores through leadership and sales training. They will work alongside team members ensuring that the customer experience and store procedures are achieved to company standards. The Assistant Floor Manager effectively communicates initiatives between management and the team.

Reporting:

a. Reports to Store Manager

b. Daily direct reports are Fit Coaches


Expectations:

a. Motivate and inspire team members to always create the Red Coyote experience

b. Ensure the team is equipped, educated and empowered to carry out the Red Coyote experience

c. Establish and maintain operational standards

d. Develop and mentor Red Coyote team members
