The Human Resources Generalist at Ultimate Staffing is responsible for managing the onboarding process of new hires, ensuring compliance with all necessary screenings, training, and documentation requirements. Responsibilities

  • Execute the onboarding process for new hires, including ensuring completion of pre-employment screenings, online training, and onboarding documents.
  • Schedule new hire appointments with HR within four business days of clearance and ensure all necessary documentation is collected promptly.
  • Update supervisors on the onboarding process by maintaining disposition and notes in UKG Pro/HRIS or via email, with updates provided at least every 72 hours.
  • Meet with new hires to collect pertinent documentation within four business days of receiving background screening results, following YMCA of South Florida and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all onboarding and documentation standards as per YMCA and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Serve as a backup to the Data Entry Specialist for HR data management.
  • Input and maintain accurate information in the UKG Pro/HRIS/Payroll databases.
  • Regularly update online information (DCF Rosters, Y-Exchange/LINK) with staff details and remove terminated staff on a monthly basis.
  • Review and approve work requests in UKG by confirming receipt of corresponding job descriptions.
  • Create and maintain HR personnel files for afterschool sites, ensuring compliance with funding sources and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure all Broward County School Badges are current for active Youth Development Broward staff.
  • Maintain compliance with YMCA of South Florida policies and all relevant regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Step in to resolve issues when new hires encounter difficulties in their duties or the onboarding process.
  • Provide recommendations related to the new hire process to the VP of Human Resources and Director of Talent Acquisition.
  • Stay updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR office.
  • Serve as a backup for other Human Resources positions as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to improve HR processes and enhance organizational compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding and Documentation:
