SABRE is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of production equipment, ensuring the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing operations. This role involves team management, installation and assembly of new machinery, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, fabrication, documentation, and continuous improvement in equipment performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the Facility Staff to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
  • Oversee the daily activities of the Facilities team, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards.
  • Install and assemble new machinery to meet production demands.
  • Collaborate with management on equipment modifications for new products
  • Keep our machines running smoothly by performing scheduled inspections and maintenance.
  • Work with a variety of equipment, including heat sealers, welders, aerosol lines, and more.
  • Regularly inspect, clean, and lubricate machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quickly identify and repair unexpected breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Use your skills to fabricate basic tools and equipment when necessary.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
  • Manage inventory and order parts to ensure we’re always stocked and ready.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace by following all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Work closely with the Plant Manager and management to ensure our machinery is always performing at its best.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in our processes and equipment.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7-10 years in industrial maintenance, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience in managerial role, supervising and leading a team.
  • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with experience in HVAC, conveyor systems, and production equipment.
  • CMM (Certified Maintenance Manager) or equivalent technical certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Precise and accurate in maintenance tasks and documentation.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
