Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one, in-home companion care.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks.
- Prepare meals and snacks.
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing and toileting.
- Transport clients to and from appointments and activities.
- Carry out a plan of care that best supports the client.
- Collaborate with Home Helpers associates and the client's family to create compassionate and supportive solutions to unique needs.
Qualifications
Required
- Must be willing to do personal care (help toileting and bathing).
- All applicants must be available to work 12 hours a week with at least 3 days with availability.
- Kind, caring, dependable, and mature.
- Want to make a difference and are interested in helping seniors.
- Hold a valid driver's license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and a reliable car.
- Have a smart phone and email account.
- Understand the importance of ethics and client confidentiality.
- Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment.
