  • Assist in bed planning and staffing.
  • Consult with chief nurse executive, physicians, nurse managers, and charge nurses on nursing problems.
  • Interpret/apply hospital and nursing services policies and procedures.
  • Ensure patient and staff needs are met.
  • Maintain performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.
  • Participate in staff scheduling processes in conjunction with the Nurse Managers and the charge nurses on each nursing unit.
  • Serve as the house-wide administrative representative in the absence of administrative presence.

Qualifications

Required

  • Current RN License in the applicable state of practice.
  • A minimum of three years current inpatient hospital experience.
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, EKG. NIH within 60 days of hire and annually.
  • ACLS education must be performed within 6 months of hire and a minimum of every two years.

Preferred

  • Critical Care experience.

Qualifications:

  • Education/License:
    • Current RN License in the applicable state of practice.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of three years current inpatient hospital experience. Critical Care experience is preferred.
  • Certification/Registration:
