- Assists in the day-to-day administrative functions of the nursing administration department.
- Act as a resource for EPIC support for nursing staff.
- Provide wound care, patient admits/discharges, and inpatient diabetic education.
- Assist in bed planning and staffing.
- Consult with chief nurse executive, physicians, nurse managers, and charge nurses on nursing problems.
- Interpret/apply hospital and nursing services policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient and staff needs are met.
- Maintain performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.
- Participate in staff scheduling processes in conjunction with the Nurse Managers and the charge nurses on each nursing unit.
- Serve as the house-wide administrative representative in the absence of administrative presence.
Qualifications
Required
- Current RN License in the applicable state of practice.
- A minimum of three years current inpatient hospital experience.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, EKG. NIH within 60 days of hire and annually.
- ACLS education must be performed within 6 months of hire and a minimum of every two years.
Preferred
- Critical Care experience.

Qualifications:
- Education/License:
- Current RN License in the applicable state of practice.
- Experience:
- A minimum of three years current inpatient hospital experience. Critical Care experience is preferred.
- Certification/Registration:
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, EKG. NIH within 60 days of hire and annually.
- ACLS education must be performed within 6 months of hire and a minimum of every two years.
