Up to $30 an hour depending on experience. Hourly pay or 40 hours plus over time guaranteed depending on skills/experience, 7:30am-4pm are normal hours. You will need to be on call after hours. You will receive special compensation for afterhours work. Health & Dental insurance, Paid Holidays, and Vacation included.

Come join our team and help us save the day!! We rescue and restore the lives of families and businesses after property damage. We are seeking water, fire, and mold remediation Technicians and Crew Chiefs to be part of our team. IICRC Certification is preferred but not required. If you dont have any, dont worry we will get you some!

Our main goal is customer satisfaction, so it is important to have EXCELLENT communication skills with our customers and team. This is a full-time position; holidays, weekends may be required therefore, you MUST be flexible. IICRC (i.e., WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) certifications are one of your powers. If you already have them, then you can look forward to a higher pay rate. Water and Fire restoration experience is a big plus but not required: we will train the right candidate.

PuroClean is a local mitigation and remediation company that responds to property damage caused by water, fire, mold, and sometimes, biohazards. We are a 24 hour emergency service and applicants should expect to participate in an on-call rotation, but also understand that being called in after hours and on weekends, even if not on-call, is always possible. Applicant must have a valid Drivers License, pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening test.

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Disaster Restoration Technician, You will be bringing equipment into the customers house and assisting in setting up drying equipment. Your responsibilities will include: removal of wet drywall, insulation, carpeting, hardwood and tile flooring, demolition and hauling debris out of the customers house.

Also included: mold removal, post demolition cleaning, structural drying and cleaning. There will be times where working in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces is required.
At a minimum, Candidates must:
  • Be able to work independently and/or with a team
  • Be punctual, reliable and dependable
  • Respond to after-hour calls
  • Very good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Some construction knowledge needed and ability to use hand tools/power tools
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and/or online documentation such as moisture mapping, temperature and humidity readings.
  • Ability to navigate through smartphone/tablet and use the software that is critical to our business (Xactimate is a plus)
  • Ability to make quick and competent decisions under pressure
  • Water and Fire restoration experience is a big plus but not required: we will train the right candidate
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule is a must.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
