The Maintenance Mechanic Technician is responsible for a variety of duties involving the installation, maintenance, preventative maintenance, service, and repair to complex components parts of machine tools, plant equipment, facilities, and buildings. Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties involving the installation, maintenance, preventative maintenance, service, and repair to complex components parts of machine tools, plant equipment, facilities, and buildings.
  • Repairs, maintains, replaces, installs, and tests a variety of equipment including electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment, mechanical systems, pneumatics/hydraulic systems, facility maintenance, and welding.
  • Inspect equipment and diagnose trouble or malfunctions.
  • Analyze equipment failures, determine cause, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Operate hand tools, voltage, and ampere measuring devices.
  • Read and work on blueprints, drawings, sketches, and layouts.
  • Have working knowledge of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment used in the field.

Qualifications

Required

Maintenance Mechanic Technician - must be able to perform a variety of duties involving the installation, maintenance and preventative maintenance, service, and repair to complex components parts of machine tools, plant equipment, facilities, and buildings.

  1. Beyond the proficient fields, assignments are considered of average complexity and performed under moderate supervision; must have the ability to complete job duties at an acceptable level. This position is responsible for problem identification and troubleshooting. Participates effectively in a team environment.
  2.
