  • Coach, lead, manage and mentor teams of engineers across various disciplines (back-end, front-end, quality, cloud, etc.)
  • Work closely with colleagues across other functions including Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery
  • Ensure a good understanding of the needs of the business and develop and execute a plan to scale our operation in Mexico
  • Directly support the needs of team members and intervene when necessary to remove roadblocks and resolve dependencies
  • Contribute toward resource planning

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience leading and managing a multi-disciplinary technology team
  • Experience working in a matrix style organization
  • Experience building teams from the ground up
  • Managing relationships with third party vendors including recruitment agencies
  • Experience building a budget and executing against plan
  • Servant leadership skills
  • Fluent English speaker and presenter
  • Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and software delivery
  • General experience working on cloud solutions in Azure/AWS/GCP
  • Experience delivering software and the software development lifecycle
  • Experience working in the Atlassian stack (Confluence, JIRA, BitBucket)
  • Knowledge of local labour laws in Mexico

Insight Global is looking for a Technology Manager to support one of our clients in managing and leading their growing technology operation in Mexico. In this role, you would be in charge of hiring the team from the ground up, managing a pre-defined budget, and being a leader to the Mexico-based technology staff. This is a hybrid position reporting into the office 3 days a week in Mexico City.

Skills and Requirements

Experience leading and managing a multi-disciplinary technology team, ideally in a hybrid environment

 Experience working in a matrix style organization where partnerships with other leaders is paramount to success
