Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Demonstrated experience in Bank Reconciliations
  • Familiarity with General Ledger management
  • Ability to create and manage Journal Entries
  • Experience in Month End Close procedures
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of accounting principles and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Description We are on the hunt for a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our team based in UNIONDALE, New York. In this role, you will be integral in maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain accounting documents for daily transactions.
