Cross Country Education partners with K-12 schools and districts nationally to provide a wide array of staffing services and consultative solutions. We are currently seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for Niles, IL. Here are some highlights about the opportunity:


Special Education Teachers needed in Niles, IL 60714

This position pays $34 - $42 per hour depending on in-classroom experience

Qualifications/License: Professional Educator License with endorsement as Learning Behavior Specialist 1


Special Education Resource Teacher Position:

- Primarily for 2nd grade

- Caseload of approximately 8-10 students

- Students with academic and behavioral needs, and developmental delays


Self-Contained Special Education Teacher Position:

- Primarily for grades K-2

- Caseload of approximately 8-10 students

- Students with autism, developmental delays, communication, behavioral, functional, and academic needs, as well as independent living skills including toileting


Notes: Positions encompass special education teaching and case management responsibilities, including teaching, grading, providing quarterly progress updates, and coordinating IEP meetings.


Schedule:

- This role begins on September 12th, 2024

- Working hours: 7:50 AM - 3:10 PM

- Duty-free lunch: 30 minutes

- Daily prep time: 70 minutes


Length of Contract: Through December with the potential for extension until the end of the school year
