The Senior Quality Engineer at Aegis Worldwide will serve as a key resource on all quality requirements, processes, procedures, issues, investigations, etc., working closely with 6-8 other quality engineers. Responsibilities
- Serve as a key resource on all quality requirements, processes, procedures, issues, investigations, etc, working with 6-8 other quality engineers
- Assist Quality Management with leading key continuous improvement quality type projects
- Apply statistical methods to collect data, analyze, interpret, and summarize the information to increase production efficiency
- Work directly with external and internal customers to address and resolve questions, concerns, requirements, complaints, and rejects
- Collaborate with multiple departments on quality issues, address them with urgency, and drive corrective actions to implementation and verification
- Support the inspection department, internal investigations and dispositioning of material
- Conduct internal audits, customer audits, customer visits, and supplier audits as necessary
Qualifications
Required
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineer, or industrial technology
- 8 years of quality experience (5-6 years for junior candidates)
- Experience working in an ISO certified facility, specifically AS9100 or IATF1345
- Experience with Six Sigma Certification (Black, Green, or Yellow belt) or lead methodologies/corrective action such as Kaizen or Kanban events, scrap reduction, 5S, 8D
- SPC experience, including PPAP’s, APQP’s, RCA and gage R&R
- Internal or external auditing experience
Preferred
- Minitab statistical software experience
- ASQ Certification or CQE certification

· This individual will serve as a key resource on all quality requirements, processes, procedures, issues, investigations, etc working with 6-8 other quality engineers
· Assist Quality Management with leading key continuous improvement quality type projects
· Ability to apply statistical methods to collect data, analyze, interpret, and summarize the information in order to increase production efficiency
· Works directly with external and internal customers to address and resolve questions, concerns, requirements, complaints, and rejects
· Collaborates with multiple departments on quality issues, addresses them with urgency, and drives corrective actions to implementation and verification
· Supports the inspection department, internal investigations and dispositioning of material

Requirements:
· A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineer, or industrial technology is a MUST
· Ideally 8 years of quality experience but we can send folks at the 5-6 year mark.
· MUST have experience working in an ISO certified facility – specifically AS9100(aerospace) or IATF1345 (automotive) is most ideal.
· Six Sigma Certification is HIGHLY preferred (Black, green or Yellow belt). If not, experience with lead methodologies/corrective active such as running Kaizen or Kanban events, scrap reduction, 5S, 8D
· SPC experience – specifically experience with PPAP’s, APQP’s, RCA and gage R&R
· Internal or external auditing experience would be high preferred( if they a certified auditor, that would be cherry on top!
· Comfortable in a high volume, fast paced environment
· They use Minitab for their statistical software so if someone has that, it would be a plus
· ASQ Certification or CQE would also be a big plus.
