Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years commercial estimating and/or project management experience.
  • Relevant experience in the New York metropolitan area.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of building codes and OSHA requirements.

Preferred

  • 4 year college degree.
  • Prior use of Field management software (i.e. Procore).
  • Construction Management experience: 5 years.
  • Construction Estimating for Multiple Trades: 3 years.

Our expanding Owner’s Representative firm is seeking a talented Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ Commercial Construction experience to join our team. New building and alteration experience is required. Our firm is not involved in single family residential construction. Only applicants with relevant large scale commercial experience will be considered. We offer a great working environment and a diverse project portfolio.


The successful candidate will ensure that projects are coordinated and completed in a safe, timely, efficient, effective and profitable manner. The Project Manager will be held responsible for all aspects related to project assignments. Job activities will include interactions with clients, and client representatives. Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects is required.


The Project Manager must prepare construction project budgets. The project manager is responsible for overseeing all projects that are awarded to them and working with their internal team to successfully run the project. They will oversee all budgeting, contracts, change orders, OAC meetings, schedule, and be the main point of contact for the client.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years commercial estimating and/or project management experience
  • Relevant experience in the New York metropolitan area.
  • 4 year college degree preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Prior use of Field management software a bonus (i.e. Procore)
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Proficient knowledge of building codes and OSHA requirements
