Job Description:

• The Quality Engineer participates in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.
• This role includes developing and helping to integrate systems that support compliance and traceability requirements in accordance with AS9100.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or applicable science degree. Master's degree a plus.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with a bachelor's degree or 2 years' experience with a master's degree.

• Knowledgeable in quality software, quality systems and records.
• Experience with Metrology/Calibration
• Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality system

• Is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
• Demonstrates a very advanced level of root-cause analysis
• Ability to solve complex problems and assist with the implementation of continuous breakthrough improvements.
• Must have advanced knowledge of product manufacture and inspection, testing and technology.
• In depth knowledge of problem-solving methods and techniques
• Knowledge of process management, technical specs, regulatory guidelines and contractual requirements
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions while in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
