Job Summary
St. Joseph Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities


- Cashier
- Prepare medications by counting, pouring, labeling, and mixing pharmaceuticals
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies
- Assist in the preparation of intravenous (IV) infusion products under pharmacist supervision
- Provide patient care services under the direction of a pharmacist
- Process medication orders or prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies

Skills
- Proficiency in pharmacy operations and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
- Strong patient care and customer service skills
- Ability to administer medications accurately
- Experience in hospital or acute care settings is a plus
- Familiarity with inhalation therapies and critical care medications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
