Qualifications

Required

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks; experience with Entrée is a plus.
  • Ability to perform journal entries, AR, AP, and reconciliations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role.
  • Proficient in account reconciliation and data entry.
  • Demonstrable experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Familiarity with bank reconciliations.
  • Strong bookkeeping skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with month end close tasks.
  • Proficient in using QuickBooks accounting software.

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Job Overview:

The Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for handling journal entries, overseeing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), and performing daily reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have experience with QuickBooks and an understanding of the transition process to Entrée, which will soon be the primary accounting platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Record journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage the general ledger (GL) and AP using QuickBooks; assist with the transition of all accounting processes to Entrée.
