Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at a thriving middle school nearPark Ridge, IL. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will possess an Illinois Professional Educator License with a School Psychologist endorsement and have experience working with middle school-aged students (Grades 6th-8th). Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs in cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral domains.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in groups to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Assist in the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) to create a positive and inclusive school climate.
• Support teachers and staff by providing consultation, guidance, and professional development on issues related to student mental health and academic success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress, interventions, and strategies.
• Stay up to date with best practices in the field of school psychology and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Possess an Illinois Professional Educator License with a School Psychologist endorsement.
• A Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Experience working as a School Psychologist in a middle school setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, techniques, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the overall success of the school community.
• Understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities of a School Psychologist.
