Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years’ progressive experience in a SaaS B2B environment in automotive inventory Marketing, Product Marketing, Market Analysis or Channel Strategy
  • Understanding of the automotive dealership industry
  • Proven success in bringing software solutions to market
  • Ability to showcase knowledge of modern marketing concepts and techniques
  • Proven track record designing and executing effective marketing messaging, content and programs
  • Ability to develop and execute effective B2B product marketing strategies
  • Leadership across virtual, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communications skills

Reporting to the Senior Director, this Director, Vehicle Marketing is a senior-level product marketing professional responsible for developing and overseeing the vehicle inventory marketing strategy, owning: positioning, packaging, pricing, messaging, content creation and competitive differentiation for the CDK vehicle inventory offerings. This individual will collaborate with Product Management and other product marketing leaders, to enable the sales & customer success teams in effectively positioning the offerings as a competitive differentiator and revenue growth enabler to both existing and new customers. The Director, Vehicle Inventory Marketing is responsible for building and executing an effective go-to-market strategy, including market characterization, development of the go-to-market plan, driving and delivering demand generation programs, influencing commercialization, and packaging strategies, enabling sales and customer success with tools and resources, and defining market requirements and business cases for product line investment.
