Qualifications

Required

  • College, university, or equivalent degree.
  • Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience.
  • Legal degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience (Bachelors preferred).
  • One to three years' experience directly related to redlining and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
  • Working knowledge of the elements of a contract and a variety of contract types.
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation skills.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines independently.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well with a variety of people and personalities.
  • Ability to help facilitate consensus among multiple stakeholders and leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite and SharePoint preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus (Spanish or French).
  • Attention to detail.

**DESCRIPTION**

We are looking for a talented Contracts Administrator to join our team specializing Law in Westminster, CO.

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**

+ Reviewing and negotiating repair and maintenance service, whole goods, time and material, NDAs and other similar contracts received from customers to execution while working directly with contract team members, the legal function, internal stakeholders and sales partners.

+ Duties include supporting the contract administration process, responding to inbound requests, contract review and interpretation, drafting of contract documents including amendments, addendums, contract file maintenance, and maintaining confidentiality of work material.

+ In addition, our contract administrators maintain and enhance our forms and procedures in support of Cummins initiatives.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Scope Management: Manage project deliverables (scope) using project management tools and processes. Ensure that the project includes all required work and only the work necessary for successful completion.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education, Licenses, Certifications:**

+ College, university, or equivalent degree required.

+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

**Experience:**

+ Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.

**Additional Information/Experience:**

+ Legal degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience (Bachelors preferred)

+ One to three years' experience directly related to redlining and negotiating contract terms and conditions.

+ Working knowledge of the elements of a contract and a variety of contract types (i.e. service, subcontracts, purchase orders, etc..).

+ Demonstrated effective negotiation skills.

+ Have a collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and self-starter.

+ Strong administrative, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.

+ Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines independently.
