- Ability to work standing for long hours in a noisy, and sometimes dusty, environment.
- Previous experience in a lab setting is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be 18 years old to apply.

- Bachelors degree in life sciences, chemistry, or a related field.
- Proficiency in pipetting and experience with general laboratory equipment.
- Experience with lab automation and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

We are seeking multiple self-motivated and organized individuals to join our Soil Analysis Production team as Temporary Laboratory Technicians. In these roles, the team is responsible for high-throughput soil processing, which includes soil homogenization, slurry preparation, and sub-sampling for various measurements. You will play a critical role in helping us meet tight deadlines, making attention to detail and strong organizational skills essential. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining inventory of samples and materials, ensuring a smooth workflow.
As part of our collaborative work environment, youll have the opportunity to work closely with experts in agriculture, analytics, microbiome, and molecular biology, expanding your knowledge and contributing to innovative solutions that benefit our customers and team.
This is a temporary, seasonal position from **September to December 2024**, offering **35 to 40 hours of work per week**, with potential for overtime during peak periods. We kindly ask that only candidates who currently reside within a commutable distance of Ames, IA apply for this opportunity.
