Project Manager

Description:

Mid-size general contractor dedicated to enhancing communities through their expertise in multi-family housing, municipal, and commercial buildings. Client is seeking a passionate and experienced Multi-family Project Manager to join their team. Responsibilities: - Lead the successful completion of various construction projects. - Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, from planning through close-out. - Manage in-house teams, interface with clients, and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and design firms. - Keep appropriate parties informed and up-to-date on project schedules and budgets. - Work closely with Superintendents to ensure safe, on-schedule, and high-quality project execution. Will be working on multi-family projects. 90% of projects will be in downtown Detroit and for low income housing. Most PMs will have 1 project at a time. 1-2 years in duration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves · 5 years of experience working for a General Contractor within multi-family projects · Experience in construction activities (scheduling, cost control, accounting, logistics, project management) · 100% commitment to safety (use references to verify) · Ability to keep a project and a team on track (use references to verify) · Desire to learn and adopt new technologies (use references to verify) Bonus: · Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred) · Understanding of Procore · Understanding of MSHA guidelines
