We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently process multi-state payroll
- Review and approve payroll data such as timekeeping records, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation adjustments

- Keep detailed and accurate payroll records in the system
- Recommend process improvements to enhance payroll operations and accuracy
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll procedures and records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as HR, Finance, and Legal to resolve payroll issues and provide strategic guidance
- Prepare and present payroll reports, audit documentation and analysis to management and stakeholders as required
- Manage and optimize payroll systems for efficiency
- Provide backup support for other payroll positions as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist
- Proficiency in auditing and reconciling payroll
- Familiarity with UKG Pro and other payroll software
- Experience with bi-Monthly Payroll and Full Cycle Payroll
- Knowledge of Multi-state Payroll and managing Payroll for Over 500 Employees
- Ability to execute all Payroll Functions and Process Payroll efficiently
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations as they pertain to payroll processes

We are in the search for a Payroll Specialist to join our team, this is a fully remote opportunity. You will play a critical role in processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
