Responsibilities

  • Lead the team with research advancement technologies, future market trends, and maintain a competitive landscape for either light commercial and commercial product lines or our unitary product lines in North America.
  • Stay abreast with HVAC technology development and drive alignment with broader building technology R&D team.
  • Responsible for exploring the Rooftop and/or VRF product or Unitary product opportunities for ODM and OEM business in North American.
  • Responsible for the formulation of product roadmap and product creative concepts for reference and adoption by the product R&D team.
  • Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master and above degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the market conditions, distribution channels, business models, and brand owners of North American product line.
  • Have a deep experience of unitary application scenarios and user pain points.
  • At least 5 years of unitary-related product line system design experience.
  • Proficient in the main components and working principles of unitary or light commercial/commercial products.
  • Familiar with the market trend of the unitary product line, the evolution trend of acts and regulations, and the technology development trend.
  • Have team management experience of three or more people.
  • Rarely required to be in warehouse environment.
  • May have to lift 50 pounds or less.
  • Occasional International Travel (<25% of time), frequent Domestic travel (<35% of time)
