Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite.

Full Job Description

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Sales Coordinator works in conjunction with the Sales Channel to support business development. This role will provide day-to-day admin support, to their perspective sales team, to ensure smooth processes regarding lifecycle of samples and retains, acting as a runner between departments, handling shipping, as well as ad-hock tasks. This position is a predominantly internal facing position.


PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

The sales coordinator is expected to handle a variety of tasks that support the sales team. Candidate must have strong time-management skills with the ability to work under deadlines while multitasking.

  • Oversees Full Sample Process Lifecycle with sales and lab
  • Owns Product Development Entry and Task Management between Sales and Lab
  • Document Requests both internal and external
  • Cross-Functional work as needed


DIMENSIONS, TASKS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Supports account executive’s efforts to manage and develop new business to meet specified sales goals.
  • Manage PE/PDR entry for R&D sample initiation including
  • Data entry and version control communication to R&D, Sales, Purchasing, and PMO
  • Customer Sample Preparation and shipping
  • Product Development approval process including formula entry and ingredient entry (K-code)
  • Identify and deliver customer documentation
  • Artwork/componentry management
  • Production sensory management for new projects
  • PDR Sample Retain management
  • Manage Build of Material process when final formula is approved, including creation of Spec Sheet
  • Functions as liaison between client companies, account executive, and operations staff.
  • Successfully download to PMO team to ensure proper handoff and achievement of key milestones
  • Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of industry product information.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • MEETING PARTICIPATION

    Coordinator will be expected to participate in weekly Sales Channel meetings as well as cross functional meetings as needed.

    This position report to the Sales Director


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

    This position is not a managerial role and does not have any supervisory responsibilities


    CLASSIFICATION

    This is a full-time non-exempt role.


    EDUCATION

    Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent experience


    WORK EXPERIENCE

    • One to two years related experience or equivalent.
    • Experience working in a GMP environment preferred
    • 3+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
