Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair operations necessary to keep the mill, equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating conditions.
  • Dismantle, repair, lubricate, reassemble, and perform general maintenance in varied capacities such as an electrician and machine repair.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance through inspecting, adjusting feed, speed power input and output, cleaning, and lubricating equipment.
  • Tear down, replace, repair, install, and assemble equipment, parts, components, and accessories.
  • Detect and report faulty material, environmental hazards, and improper operation of mill equipment or machinery.

Qualifications

Required

  • Successful completion of entrance exam.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting, preferably with heavy machinery.
  • Advanced knowledge of AC/DC motors, gearbox mechanics, lubrication principles, welding, cutting torch, NFPA 70E, and common maintenance tools.
  • Intermediate knowledge of pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, stick and tig welding and rigging principles.
  • Team-oriented with communication skills required to work with supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and production operators.
  • Ability to work a 12 hr rotating shift including days, nights, and two consecutive weekends a month.

Earning potential based on trade experience - $99800- $121478 / year which includes hourly pay, biweekly production bonus, shift premiums, and 312 hours annually scheduled overtime.
