A day in the life of a Member Solutions Advocate

Working out of our Rockland headquarters, our Member Solutions Advocates assist our members via telephone with a variety of needs. RFCU members will call to make loan payments, inquire about balances, and open new accounts. They may also request statements and ask for help with our website, online banking and bill pay features. It's a busy environment requiring the flexibility to pivot smoothly from one transaction to another. At RFCU we pride ourselves in setting you up for success with on-the-job training and an introductory period for plenty of feedback and coaching.

Skills & Requirements

The Member Solutions Advocate position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with members and staff at all levels within the organization. Knowledge of Credit Union products and services is also preferred, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel experience. Accuracy and attention to detail are important, along with the ability to navigate our mobile app and website.

Work Schedule and Benefits

As a Member Solutions Advocate, you will work a 40-hour full-time schedule that includes extended hours on Thursday and Friday, and a short schedule every other Saturday. That means every other week you will have a weekday off (we support work-life balance!) The Member Solutions Advocate is also remote work classified as hybrid and has the potential to be hybrid once the introductory period and training are complete.
