  • Help lead weekend services and midweek life groups from setup to cleanup.
  • Assist in preparing and leading camps, rallies, and other significant yearly events (Oscars, graduation, missions support).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

STUDENT MINISTRY INTERN

  • RELATES CLOSELY WITH: STUDENT MINISTRY TEAM, CONGREGATIONAL PASTORS, STUDENT SERVE TEAMS, PARENTS
  • CLASSIFICATION: STUDENT MINISTRY INTERNSHIP
  • PAY RANGE: UP TO 20 HOURS ($18hr)

WestGate Church is passionate about raising up new leaders to be and to make disciples of Jesus. As a Student Ministry Intern, you will grow in your ability to minister within the context of students and families. Our internships are designed to cultivate young leaders, providing them with training, experience, and discipleship. This opportunity will give you a perspective of vocational ministry, specifically learning to manage an effective Student Ministry program and outreach. As an intern, you'll support student ministries events across all campuses, each designed to help students say YES to Jesus and passionately follow him. This part-time role (Sunday - Thursday) may require occasional work on Fridays and Saturdays and evening hours, providing exceptional ministry-related event assistance to the student team.
