The Assistant Enrolling Clerk assists with recording all aspects of legislative business in the House, both in the minute book on the Floor and electronically.   • Ability to perform the major duties described above.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of House Rules, procedures, and parliamentary processes.
  • Experience working in a team, possessing strong communication skills.
  • Excellent proofreading abilities and detail oriented.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including late nights and weekends.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Competent in the operation of Office 365.
  • Willingness to learn or be familiar with Text Pad, XMetaL, MicroComp, and Word.
  • Analytical mind and detail oriented.
