About Us:

Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Our Perioperative function supports 8 operating rooms and approximately 7,000 cases annually. Our clinicians are skilled in the most advanced procedures and technology, and provide personalized patient care in a warm and caring environment.

Statement of Purpose:

Assists in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Functions as a member of the sterile team in donning gown and gloves, creating and maintaining a sterile field and issuing instruments to surgeons.

Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of Accredited School of Surgical Technology. Certification / License: Current CPR skills Surgical Tech Certification preferred Or Employment as a Surgical Technologist in a Surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013 and successful obtainment of Surgical Tech certification required within one year of start date

Experience: Surgical Technologist experience preferred. MRMC Differentials:

Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
