The Merchandise Planner at The Judge Group is responsible for maintaining, developing, and updating the RPL model to ensure the correct quantity of products are at the right locations at the right times.   • Understand trends and adjust models accordingly.
  • Execute and input replenishment purchase orders, and follow up with the shipping department on open orders.
  • Reforecast sales at the SKU/location level to determine appropriate minimums and maximums.
  • Handle over 5000 SKUs in a multi-faceted environment.
  • Manage the sales-to-stock ratio by location.
  • Support inventory requests from retail partners using a bottoms-up approach.
  • Create and maintain sales and inventory reports, and forecast item and production needs based on sales data.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize stock levels and drive profitable sales.
  • Maintain account recaps and generate analyses for internal review.
  • Prepare recaps and analyses for presentation at sales meetings with retail partners.
  • Prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects concurrently to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Merchandise Planning or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience in SKU planning.
  • Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of retail merchandise planning.
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • BA or BS degree preferred, with excellent Excel skills.
  • Previous experience in fine jewelry or other luxury goods is a plus.
