Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (AEP)

Duration: 12-month contract – Strong possibility for extensions

Location: Fully Remote

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years as a QA
• Strong experience with Adobe AEP
• Experience with Azure Devops for automating, building, managing, testing, and deploying CI/CD Pipelines
• Ability to design and develop test automation scripts with demonstrated language with strong coding knowledge
• 7+ years of test automation experience with Azure Devops for automating, building, managing, testing, and deploying CI/CD Pipelines
• Web API testing experience
• Experience writing test cases and user stories
• Experience with validation process with end-to-end testing and integration testing
• Experience with Selenium for test automation
• Experience with manual and automation testing
• Cloud experience- Azure preferred, open to AWS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• General understanding of application and system architecture concepts including service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Strong communication skills as they will be leading and consulting on test automation strategy

Job Description:

An employer is looking for a Sr. Adobe QA in a Remote location. This resource will join the Campaigns & Offers team within MarTec. This team is working on combining loyalty systems for the enterprise. Additionally, they are creating marketing tools that will provide offers tailored for its customers via push notifications/emails. This person will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining test automation processes, practices, and controls in support of application and system requirement, development and test activities through the software development and sustainment lifecycles. Leads and consults on test automation strategy, requirement, design, implementation, and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains, and executes automated test scripts.
• Advances and improves automation framework design features and implements automated test suites and test cases within that framework.
• Recommends quality improvements to automation requirements, design, build, and execution, and then assists in the development and implementation of enhancements.
• Participates in tool analysis, creates proof of concept models, and makes recommendations to support the tools selection process.
• Establishes the criteria and participates in evaluation on whether features and functions will be automated.
• Provides oversight to quality assurance analysts and engineers, developers, and testers on test automation and performance test activities, and then accurately monitors and communicates test execution results.
• Consolidates, analyses, and debugs automated test scripts.
• Creates and manufactures test data needed for execution or database population.
• Follows coding and design standards and provides suggestions on improvements.
• Participates in the continual maintenance of code base and refactoring.
