We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Mechanic & Electric Technician to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Maintain documentation of all repairs, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, including control circuits, PLCs, motors, and electrical panels.
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure proper system installation and repairs.
  • Conduct regular electrical system inspections and calibrations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify improvement opportunities in processes and equipment efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols, regulations, and best practices.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and maintenance staff as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic and/or Electric Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC) and electrical systems (AC/DC motors, PLCs, electrical wiring).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and proper lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Technical certification in electrical or mechanical maintenance is preferred.
