The Project Engineer at The Spear Group will assist in the development and conduct of project team meetings, participate in conflict resolution, and support the implementation of project procedures. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, the client team, design team, and field construction teams to ensure project delivery. The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of experience in a Project Engineering role, a degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, and preferably prior pharma experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development, conducting project team meetings, chairing, and recording all minutes.
  • Participate in raising issues and engage in conflict resolution during the scoping, design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and close out phases of assigned projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of project procedures and support adherence to appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the establishment and administration of change management process.
  • Support the implementation of all key project processes and tools to support the project delivery and monitor progress, update, and reporting, making recommendations to the client team and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in the review and assessment of proposed variations/scope changes and identify the impact of cost and schedule to the project.
  • Support the preparation of close-out and turn-over of systems and documentation for project completion.
  • Coordinate with the stakeholders, client team, design team and field contraction teams on all interactions required for Project Delivery.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5-9 years’ experience working in a Project Engineering role.
  • Degree qualified in Project Management, Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical engineering) or related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.

Preferred

  • Prior pharma experience.
