The Project Administrator at Henry Yandt Construction will provide administrative assistance to the entire company, focusing on supporting the Project Engineer with various project-related tasks. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Engineer with setting up projects, including procuring jobsite trailers, porta-potties, dumpsters, supplier accounts, etc.
  • Assist the Project Engineer with creating documents such as contracts, change orders, RFIs, RFPs, submittals, closeout, etc.
  • Scan, print, and log drawings and documents. Create binders and electronic folders for every project.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, create files, incoming/outgoing daily correspondence (email, correspondence, etc.), order supplies, handle mail and shipping needs, and other daily general office duties.
  • Willingness to run errands as needed (pick up supplies, drop off applications, pick up permits, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment and assist in keeping the office clean and organized.
  • Coordinate/schedule maintenance repair requests for the office building that come from various entities throughout the building.
  • As needed, provide administrative assistance with estimating and marketing functions.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2 years Administrative experience in a professional environment
  • Utilizes effective record keeping and document management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 4-year degree preferred (or equivalent job experience)
  • Focused, detail-oriented, and able learn new tasks quickly
  • Very strong organizational skills
  • Ability to provide professional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office/Outlook)
  • Works independently and effectively manages a large workload in a dynamic environment
  • Willingness to learn

The Project Administrator will collaborate with and provide administrative assistance to the entire company. This is an entry level position, but an amazing opportunity with unlimited potential! The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or a zest to learn about construction.
