As an Operations Engineer at Colovore, you will be responsible for engaging with customers to perform remote hand technical services, providing an elevated data center experience. Responsibilities

  • Provide a positive customer service experience
  • Perform Copper and Fiber cross connect installation and testing
  • Installation of both internal and external customer servers and network equipment
  • Perform hard drive and other component replacements
  • Perform interconnect cabling, testing, and trouble shooting
  • Management of customer work orders by ticketing system
  • Perform Shipping and receiving
  • Perform daily rounds/inspections of the facility
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC and Electrical equipment
  • Perform regular testing of the facility's emergency systems
  • Use of a CMMS system for preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Monitoring of the facility by use of a Building Management System
  • Maintain site security by use of a access control and video monitoring system
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word
  • Working knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.
  • Participation in an On-Call rotation

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of mission critical experience
  • Data Center specific experience a plus
  • Previous data center/lab technician support experience OR previous facility maintenance experience
  • Participation in an On-Call rotation is required

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Colovore Operations Engineer you will be engaging with our customers to perform remote hand technical services and provide them with an elevated data center experience. In addition to our customer supporting activities our operations engineers perform maintenance and repair of our facility's core infrastructure.
