We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead our plastics packaging manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all manufacturing operations, including EHS, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, and Human Resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement and foster a safety culture across the facility.
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop employees.
  • Ensure efficient operation of flexible packaging machinery.
  • Monitor plant activities to ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.
  • Develop and uphold operational KPIs to maintain a world-class manufacturing facility and ensure employee safety.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with department heads and corporate executives to track progress on company goals and plant performance.
  • Implement LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies throughout the facility.
  • Train and coach employees on best practices, including handling hazardous materials.
  • Ensure operations comply with cGMP guidelines.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute long-term business plans aligned with company vision and standards.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and lead employees to become organizational leaders.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a flexible packaging, flexographic printing, or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of plant management experience.
  • Technical expertise in injection molding, printing, lamination, or similar manufacturing processes.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a plus.
  • Superior leadership abilities and the ability to drive cultural and organizational change.
  • Experience with LEAN and/or 5S manufacturing practices.
