  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and support.
  • Manage the procurement of office supplies, warehouse supplies, computer supplies, cleaning supplies, and other miscellaneous items as requested.
  • Interface with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoices, receipts, and purchase orders.
  • Partner with Suppliers, Quality, and Engineering to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related manufacturing field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with at least 1 year of experience in supply chain.
  • Proven track record in procurement and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand bills of materials and read product drawings and parts specifications.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft programs.

Preferred

  • Experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, aerospace, pharmaceutical, military procurement, etc.

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Specialist interested in supporting the development and launch of our electrical surgical system used for transseptal procedures in a fast-paced FDA regulated startup environment. This is a full time on-site position and will require reporting to our office located in Solana Beach, CA. As a critical member of the operations team, this person will manage the procurement of raw materials and supplies and facilitate the movement of our products throughout the production process.
