  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and handbook guidelines.
  • Drive efforts to maximize shop efficiency and product quality.
  • Complete required environmental, health, and safety documentation.
  • Support job training and certification processes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of facility and equipment.
  • Lead the production team with a positive approach and engage employees effectively.
  • Act as a “Change Agent” to promote continuous improvement.
  • Ensure growth and technology objectives for assigned manufacturing areas are met.
  • Manage day-to-day team aspects, including time clock management, policy enforcement, training, and metric achievement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • AS/BS Degree in management or a technical field preferred. Relevant years of service in a similar work environment may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience required.
  • 3-5 years of positive leadership and employee engagement experience preferred.
  • Experience with 5S and Continuous Improvement desired.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Exposure to ISO / QS9000 / IATF 16949 manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Industrial ERP Systems such as QAD preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving actions to effective completion.
  • Ability to collaborate with company resources to positively impact cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
