  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and Salesforce.
  • Prefer three years relevant experience in client relations/sales, auto finance, floorplan finance or banking.

We are seeking a Client Relations Specialist to join our team. As a Client Relations Specialist you will be responsible for managing the strategic view of the Client and their relationship within DataScan. This position involves communicating with Client and internal management on a daily basis to initiate measures to resolve Clients' requests. This includes coordinating with the appropriate departments including technical operations, product, accounting, legal, client success, and business development. This position is responsible for facilitating solutions in support of both DataScan's and our Clients' goals and objectives. This includes development of scope, timelines, project proposals and implementation plans as they relate to these objectives and managing them to completion.

This is a hybrid position based in Alpharetta, GA.

SUMMARY: Individual is responsible for building, managing, and improving on-going relationships with our clients. This includes addressing and resolving issues quickly and positively, planning and running regular management meetings, presenting innovative solutions and opportunities whenever possible, and ensuring our clients enjoy their relationship with DataScan.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Must possess exceptional verbal, written, professionalism and interpersonal communication skills and have the adeptness to deal with all levels of management both internally and externally.
  • Ability to have meaningful discussions with clients to understand short term and long-term needs of the client and how DataScan could provide a potential solution.
  • Ability to initiate the sales process of potential new products.
  • Strong facilitation, project management and organizational skills required with the ability to handle multiple efforts and priorities.
  • Ability to work with partners internal to DataScan to facilitate a strategic relationship with the client. Partners include:
    • Business Development - SOW, Amendment, and contract extensions
    • Compliance & Information Security - issue management, open house initiatives, contract compliance
    • Accounting - understanding the full financial scope of the client
    • Product - work with team to deliver Client feedback and coordinate Client interactions for the Product team
    • Client Success teams - work with implementation, consulting and support teams across the organization on issue escalation

  1. Executive team - as the "eyes and ears" of the organization, be able to both deliver and receive strategic communications and presentations; escalation of big issues as needed

  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills required.
  • Ability to manage up to 20 Clients of varying sizes and levels of complexity.
  • Work closely with the Client Relations Manager developing the bandwidth to cover more Clients effectively and independently.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and Salesforce required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills preferred: Salesforce.com; Microsoft Office Suite
  • Other skills required:
    • Prefer three years relevant experience in client relations/sales, auto finance, floorplan finance or banking.
