  • MIG, TIG Welding, mill and turning experience.

  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of how facility and packaging equipment operates.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • The operation of certain machinery requires eye, hand, and foot coordination.
  • English proficient.

Position Summary:

The position of the Mechanic; Packaging Maintenance has primary responsibility for the maintenance of all packaging equipment and facilities repairs.


Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs packaging and facilities repairs with minimal supervision.

• Interprets blueprints and schematics.

Diagnose/troubleshoot malfunctions with minimal guidance.

• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Maintain equipment in a neat and clean fashion.

• Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.




Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• College degree or Trade School.

• Mechanical Engineering background.

• Experience in pharmaceutical packaging preferred.
