  • Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through training and development programs
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer procedures and protocols for vehicle repair and maintenance

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and tools
  • Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and specialized tools
  • Experience with domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and protocols
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Job Summary:
Martin Chevrolet, a well-established automotive dealership in Crystal Lake, Illinois, is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, Per Booked Hour only position with the potential to earn between $85,000 to $185,000 per year, paid weekly. We are looking for an individual contributor who is passionate about cars, trucks and has a strong technical background in the automotive industry. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work on a variety of vehicles.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a commission-only position with the potential to earn between $85,000 to $185,000 per year, paid weekly.
