Qualifications

Required

  • BS/BA in Construction Management, Environmental Services, or Business degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ successful Sales, Consulting, or Operations experience with Municipal Water Utilities, Water Meters, Pipe Rehabilitation & Repair, Civil Engineering, or Construction industries.
  • Prior Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect data, assess mechanical process equipment, make recommendations for improvements, prepare commercial proposals, and close new business.
  • Exposure or expertise with design-build water distribution, wastewater, or sewer infrastructure projects, civil engineering and construction, capital improvements, and/or long-term maintenance service contracts is a plus.
  • Exposure or expertise with steel or concrete water storage tank construction, renovations, or maintenance is a plus.
  • Exposure or expertise with new Smart Water Meters for potable drinking water, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and/or Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) technologies is a plus.
  • Exposure or expertise with water or sewer pipe rehabilitation projects, trenchless piping repair, and/or spraying in place coating technologies is a plus.
  • Well-rounded mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps, motors, valves, flanges, seals, piping, tanks, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Consultative problem-solving selling approach with strong relationship management skills.
  • Strong competitive drive with consistent track record of high achievement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
