The Director of Quality at a leading organization within the manufacturing industry will work directly with executive leadership to make an impact from day one. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audits from customers or other entities (IATF) to sustain high-quality performance
  • Assist Project management in product development through PFMEA and Control Plans
  • Provide leadership and direction in the development of effective quality policies and programs
  • Train and Manage plant contacts to successfully support Plant managers on the 8D corrective action projects
  • Facilitate and assist plants in defining and successfully completing Quality Objectives
  • Manage Supplier Approval and Development program
  • Work with cross-functional for follow-up on internal corrective actions

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of leadership / management experience
  • 5 to 8 years of Quality engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP)
  • 4 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 quality standards
