The Nuclear Medicine Technician at Piedmont Fayette performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all protocols, policies, and procedures. - Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT).
- BLS Certified.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.

Location: Piedmont Fayette

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
