Lead Teacher in a 2-year-old classroom for September to June school year

Summary

Looking for an organized and patient teacher who loves to teach little children in Metuchen, NJ. This job is for September - June and the hours are 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. If you are looking to make a difference in a child's life and expand little minds this job is for you.

Duties

• Create Lesson Plans
• Communicate with families through our app Brightwheel
• Conduct 1 parent teacher conference a year
• Write two progress reports a school year for each child

Requirements

Must have one of 3:
1.) Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
2.) Six college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development AND Nine college credits in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or any other field related to child growth or development
3.) Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.

Some classroom experience preferred but not required. Ability to work well with others and communication skills are important qualifications.
Must pass background check required by NJ Office of Licensing.
