The Riverfront Children's Center, a non profit childcare program, is looking for enthusiastic qualified staff members to work with Early Childhood classrooms with children ages 0 to 6 years of age.

Duties

Working with another Child Care Teacher in the classroom you will:
Lesson plan with co-teacher using CT Early Learning Developmental Standards
Interacting in a positive and encouraging manner with children
Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment
Engage children in play-based learning through large and small group and one-on-one activities
Family engagement, communicate daily with parents

Requirements

Current center-based preschool CDA with 12 ECE credits, and enrolled in a program that will lead to an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field to be completed within three years of the time of hire
or
Associates Degree in ECE or relevant field with 12 ECE credits
or
Bachelors Degree in ECE or relevant field with 12 ECE credits
Candidates must pass required state background check
Demonstrated experience working with children or excellent customer service
Upon hire must have documentation of a physical examination and a TB Test, to be repeated every two years
